2016 Water Sampling Results

 

The 2016 Water Sampling is a joint collaboration between Owasco Watershed Lake Association, Cayuga County Planning and Economic Development, and the Owasco Lake Watershed Inspection Program.

 

Bacteria samples are taken on a bi-weekly basis from 18 locations around the watershed, focused on areas of concern that may impact water quality. Nutrient samples are taken after a heavy precipitation event from 11 locations along major tributaries to Owasco Lake.
