Shoreline Survey

 

The Inspection and Protection Division annually walks the entirety of the Owasco Lake shoreline looking for winter damage such as animal carcasses and issues that could impact water quality ("areas of concern"). This includes possible violations of the Watershed Rules and Regulations, such as erosion and septic issues. We will walk the entire lakeshore this spring.
