Similar to efforts in 2018, the 2019 lake-wide surveillance is being organized through the Owasco Watershed Lake Association (OWLA) and NYS DEC.

The Inspection Division staff will be providing surveillance support and technical assistance with the 2019 HAB detection and sampling program.  OWLA will take the lead with sampling efforts and have their trained folks monitoring the shoreline zones around Owasco Lake.
